AI Agents Are Now Brand Touchpoints

When an AI agent answers your customers, it speaks for your brand. It needs a voice, rules and a design brief.

Customers increasingly meet a brand through a conversation: a support agent, a shopping assistant, a booking flow that answers questions. Each of those exchanges is as much a brand moment as a homepage or a package.

01Design the voice, not only the model

An agent fine-tuned for accuracy but not for tone will be correct and still feel foreign. We treat agents like any other touchpoint: they get a brand voice, a clear scope, rules for what they never say, and a hand-off to a person when that is the better answer.

02Measure it like a channel

Agents should earn their place with numbers: resolution rate, time saved, conversion on assisted journeys and satisfaction after the conversation. Those KPIs sit beside the rest of the funnel, not in a separate experiment.

Start small. Pick one high-volume, well-understood conversation, design the agent around it and measure it for a month. Then decide where it should go next.
